Become A Member of the Trails Coalition!

ETC’s Annual Membership Drive is kicking off this week, and we hope you’ll be one of the 250 people in the Evansville, Indiana region to become a member or renew your membership before July 31!

Our efforts focus on the important connections to places in our city, county, and regional towns. It is essential for people of all ages and abilities to have the opportunity to walk, bike, or wheel to destinations on a connected trail, close to home, work, or school. Your membership will help forgotten trail opportunities stay at the forefront of a completed trails system network!

Completing our Greenway is imperative to the future of becoming a multimodal community. Infrastructure enhancements and amenities provide active transportation, quality of place, and quality of life improvement options for people of all backgrounds. Your membership validates the importance of trails in our community and is crucial to the success of this work. Our completed trail segments are vital to providing connectivity in every district. There are many trail gaps that have yet to be made, and many community members still lack access to trails near where they live…miles of trail corridors and segments do not exist and are not yet connected.

Thanks to the participation of members like you, we will continue to press toward completing our trails system network, but we can’t do it without you. We want to be well-positioned to make 2022 a great year for trails in our region. Will you join us to make it happen?

Since 2009, the Trails Coalition has been the only trails organization executing advocacy campaigns to establish trails, but also to coordinate and implement efforts bringing people together to get the job done in the City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County. If we aren’t proactively working toward connectivity, who will be?  The opportunity for us to prepare for building additional trails within our Greenway Trails System Network is immediate.

This year, the key focus is to continue building momentum toward trail design development and preparing plans that lead to trail projects. Connectivity is the goal; connect all districts, locally and regionally, and expand the access to trails to everyone developing regional connectivity and growth! Your membership will help develop and connect new trails you are sure to love and appreciate. And your membership will create and connect necessary corridors and segments such as the Eagle Creek Trail from Downtown Evansville to Angel Mounds and more!

We need 250 supporters regionwide to take part in this membership drive by July 31. If you have a friend who loves trails as much as you do, please consider forwarding this message along and asking them to join you as a member of the Evansville Trails Coalition.

Don’t delay: Make your $25.00 annual membership contribution today!
